Here's how the ECMO Life platform works.

Simplify ECMO Staffing

We collect ECMO Specialists’ qualifications and preferences, and gather opportunities from hospitals and medical groups.  We then present opportunities to qualifying ECMO staff.  If the ECMO individual decides to pursue the opportunity the two parties are connected.

  • ECMO Specialist Registration

    All ECMO practitioners, from physicians to technologists, are welcome to create a profile outlining their professional and geographic preferences.  No commitment, no obligation.  We’ll never share your information without your permission.

  • Hospitals and Groups Share Opportunities

    Hospitals and medical groups sign up and share relief and full-time requirements.  We review our database for ECMO professionals whose preferences and qualifications match the opportunity.

  • Find a Match

    We share matching opportunities with qualifying ECMO staff.  ECMO individuals decide whether to pursue the opportunity and are never under any obligation to share their information.  If an ECMO individual would like to explore an opportunity further, we connect them with the client.

  • Service Agreements with ECMO Life (Hospitals and Groups)

    ECMO Life clients may enter into a Relief Service & Placement Agreement with ECMO Life, LLC. These agreements have no minimum obligation and only require payment if service is provided

    The Relief Section of the Agreement allows the Client to use the ECMO Life relief pool for relief staffing (maternity leave, vacation relief, or any planned or unplanned staffing shortage).  

    The Placement Section of the Agreement allows the Client to utilize ECMO Life as a “head-hunter” service, and only pays if the candidate is placed. Again, payments are only made if the service is provided.

    ECMO Life does not engage in traditional full-time contract ECMO service.
